Scott Wyker
Scott Wyker is a man of few words, but what he does say is usually significant. A rugged outdoorsman, who can camp for months at a time, he is intimately familiar with the subjects of his recordings. Calling home a mountaintop in Big Sur, his lifestyle is simple and close to the land.
Scott is a purist in that he likes his work to capture the true essence of what he has recorded so that it represents as closely as possible what one would hear in nature. Many, many recordings go into making one CD and it can take months to put together.
